Head Instructor Lance Campbell received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in 2014 from professor Steve Oliver (3rd Degree Black Belt).
He has been training and teaching Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the last 18 years, with a strong focus on helping people of all ages. Along with his family, they have created an academy where the environment and culture are welcoming, supportive, and encouraging with a Whanau (family) focus.
When not on the mats, Lance enjoys time with family, watching his kids play netball, rugby, reading, motorcycle riding, fishing, and trying his hand at farming on their small lifestyle property.
His achievements in the sport include New Zealand and Oceania titles, including international competition experience, having medalled at the Pan Pacific's on several occasions.
Whether you are a parent wanting help to improve your child's confidence and self-esteem, try a new martial art, learn one of the most effective self-defense systems in the world, compete or improve your general fitness, then come in and see Lance and the Team.
