Head Instructor Lance Campbell received his Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt in 2014 from Professor Steve Oliver (3rd Degree Black Belt).
He has trained and taught Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for the last 20 years, focusing on helping people of all ages. Along with his family, they have created an academy where the environment and culture are welcoming, supportive, and encouraging with a Whanau (family) focus.
When not on the mats, Lance enjoys time with family, watching his kids play netball and rugby, reading, motorcycle riding, fishing, and traveling.
His achievements in the sport include New Zealand and Oceania titles, including international competition experience, having medalled at the Pan Pacific's on several occasions.
