Kylie has a significant netball and touch rugby background, having played at the highest level and representing the Bay of Plenty, Auckland, and North Harbour regions. She was also a New Zealand netball age group representative and went on to play for the Auckland Diamonds and Counties Manukau Comets, amongst others.
She started her Jiu-Jitsu journey late in life, and after two years of dedication and commitment, she received her blue belt in 2019, and recently won the Silver medal in the masters division at the 2024 SJJIF World Championships in Nagoya, Japan.
She encourages anyone, men, women, and kids, to come in and give it a go, as age should be no barrier to making good, positive, and sustainable lifestyle changes that Jiu-Jitsu offers.
Kylie is an assistant coach with our kids and women's programs, and when not performing those duties, she manages administration and membership inquiries.
